Quality Management

The Broner Quality Management system provides facilities to monitor and control quality as the product moves between processes and works units. 

Quality Management provides the plant floor with information and inspection points that will require either human inspection or LIMS testing. Test results may be obtained from existing Process Computers or entered manually.

Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) checks the achieved chemical and mechanical properties of material actually produced against the specifications of the quality database for production/process order. Material is automatically Non-conformed, and is prevented from further processing until a disposition is made.

Disposition of NCR product may be made within the Broner Quality Management or the results may be sent to another system such as SAP QM.

Quality Execution Module

• Test Instructions for each inspection area can be retrieved and displayed in the inspection work centres
• Quality specifications per product can be retrieved from external systems (e.g. ERP) and be used for Non-Conformity characterisation
• Non-conformance reporting and disposition

In the case where an item has failed the quality specifications, it has to be downgraded and reallocated to a production order with suitable specifications, or sent for rework or scrapped.
